NYSM Contemporary Indigenous Artwork & Ethnology Collections on Loan

Artwork from the Contemporary Indigenous Art Collection and Ethnography Collections at the New York State Museum continues to be sought after for inclusion in art exhibits across New York. In 2023 artwork from the collection contributed to three artists’ retrospective shows and a major exhibition at the New-York Historical Society.
