Fort Ticonderoga has officially launched a new interactive online resource for educators! Teachers across the globe can quickly browse through modules including lesson plans, classroom activities, and videos carefully curated together for different grade levels.

Educators now have a variety of resources on the Revolutionary War, the diverse peoples involved, and the prior wars that informed weapons, tactics, and more. This convenient platform inspires students to explore topics like the 1775 capture of Ticonderoga and learn about the lives of men, women, and children stationed here. For high-school and college students, micro-courses challenge them to think deeper about topics as diverse as the industrial production of arms to the political discussion of a national militia in the early United States.

For the first time, all these classroom resources are brought together in trackable modules, exponentially increasing Fort Ticonderoga’s educational reach, while maintaining our commitment to historical literacy and critical thinking skills that inspire future historians and engaged citizens.
