The Museum Association of New York is partnering with the Erie Canal Museum, CNY Arts, and the Arts and Cultural Leadership Alliance of Central New York to collect data regarding employee compensation for museums in New York State. This data will be used in order to gauge both the standard compensation across the state, as well as factors that may contribute to any differences in compensation. This research is being completed through the Community Link Program of Syracuse University’s Maxwell School. A student enrolled in Professor Austin Zwick’s PST315 Methods of Public Policy Analysis class has developed this survey and will analyze the data prior to the end of the fall semester.

Completing the survey should take less than 20 minutes if you have your payroll and/or compensation information available. Please take the time to complete the survey in a timely manner prior to the Friday, November 10 deadline so that our student consultant has enough data to develop a useful report.

We appreciate your participation in our online survey, which utilizes QuestionPro, an independent research firm, to field your confidential survey responses.
