To assist the history field in preparing for the U.S. 250th anniversary in 2026, AASLH is creating a programming handbook to inspire history organizations of all types, sizes, and locations to identify connections to the upcoming commemoration. The handbook will offer concrete ideas for programs and services to engage varied audiences and meaningfully mark the 250th within limited resources—budgetary or otherwise.
