The Office of Cultural Education (OCE), made up of the New York State Archives, Library and Museum, has been working to support New York State’s cultural community throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. OCE has formed the New York State COVID-19 Documentation Initiative to collect information on documentation efforts on the local, state and national level, as well as funding opportunities and reopening information for cultural organizations. The newly created New York State COVID-19 Documentation Initiative website will serve as an information clearinghouse for archives, historical societies, libraries, museums and other cultural institutions across the state.
