Step behind the scenes for a guided collections tour exploring archaeological artifacts recovered from Revolutionary-era sites in the Town of Ballston, dating from approximately 1780–1820. Led by Dr. Christina Rieth, New York State Archaeologist and Co-Director of the Cultural Resource Survey Program, this special tour highlights objects excavated from the Watrous, Pierson, and Jennings sites and reveals what they tell us about daily life in post-Revolutionary New York. Participants will also learn how these discoveries compare to findings from other archaeological sites throughout southern Saratoga County, offering a broader perspective on the region's early history.
